WASHINGTON – A new national poll of Jewish voters, conducted in conjunction with President Trump’s first 100 days in office, finds strong opposition to President Trump’s policies across the board – including the economy, foreign policy, and his handling of antisemitism.
The poll also found that 70% of Jewish voters would support a Democratic congressional candidate in the 2026 midterm elections if the election were held today.
The national survey, conducted by GBAO Strategies on behalf of the non-partisan and newly formed Jewish Voters Resource Center, was conducted April 22 – May 1, 2025, and included interviews with 800 self-identified Jewish voters. The national survey is subject to a margin of error of +/- 3.5 percentage points at the 95 percent confidence level.

“Jewish voters express overwhelming opposition to President Trump’s domestic and foreign policy agenda after his first 100 days in office,” said pollster Jim Gerstein of GBAO Strategies, who conducted the poll. “This poll shows the intensity of concern that American Jews have about Trump, believing that he is dangerous and doing things that increase antisemitism. They strongly oppose Trump’s signature policies and proposals, from enacting tariffs and ending USAID funding to taking over Greenland and proposing that the U.S. assume control of Gaza to redevelop the land. Perhaps, the most striking poll result is that half of Jewish voters believe Donald Trump is antisemitic.”
